A way to keep the work open
Member support is what lets the press charge neither authors nor readers, and keeps seminars free to attend.
We are building a founding list of people who want to be involved from the start, and who will help decide what membership should actually be.
The point of membership is to spread the cost of the research across the field it serves, so that no single operator is paying for it. It should also give people a reason to stay in contact with each other between conferences.
We are deliberately not publishing tiers or prices yet. Setting those before there is anything to be a member of would just be guesswork, so we are asking the founding list first.

Roundtables and working groups across disability advocacy, research, attraction design, operations, and the arts.
Members will help choose workshop topics, press series subjects, and which questions the institute takes on first.
We are designing membership so that anyone who would benefit can join, whatever they can pay. Working that out is part of what we want the founding list to help with.
Tell us who you are and what you would want membership to do. That is the whole process for now.
