IEDRI is planning an annual conference and a series of free online seminars. This page explains what they are for and how to take part in shaping them.

The conference is being planned as a working meeting. Research talks have a place on the program, but most of it is given over to workshops and to design concepts presented for critique.
Both formats feed directly into IEDRI Press. Workshop topics become the basis of a Perspectives volume, and design concepts that survive their critique can be revised for the Design Concepts Series. Presenting at the conference is the usual route into being published by us.
How the press series workOnline seminars
The seminar series is intended to be free, captioned, and short enough to attend during a working day. Recordings and transcripts will be posted when speakers agree to it.
No seminars have been scheduled yet. The first dates will be announced here and to anyone on the mailing list.
Help us start it
We are looking for people who want to run a workshop, give a seminar, present a design concept, or host the first conference. Early conversations shape the program more than late ones do.
